Ava, clad in a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, a light cotton white shirt which rose above her belly button and a pair of baby blue chuck taylors, walked slowly through the forest with her ipop d blaring system of a down into her ears.

Two years prior she would have been scared out of her mind to venture into the forest. Especially by herself. But as time went by she seemed to find peace in all the nature surrounding her. It was a wonderful place to photograph.

She had her camera slung over her shoulders as she walked, nodding her head to the music. She wasn't there for any reason in particular, just to get away from the campus for a while. She loved the school dearly but even people who are in love with the work they do need a break sometimes.

<sup>Aaron was dead tired.

Not just 'oh, I had two hours of sleep last night' tired. He hadn't gotten a good sleep in over a week.

Not that he was complaining.

Afctually, for a raging insomniac, the boy was... quite cheerful. Sure the bags under his eyes were evident and dark, and the looks in the eyes themselves made him look a zombie, but he still had a smile on his sickly-pale face as he made his way to the forest. Why? he really didn't know. maybe he thought he'd get some rest there. Not sleep, because with sleep came the Nightmares. just... rest.

What he found, was a girl, not too much older than he was, camera slung around her neck and ipod blaring- he could ehar the music from his distance. He waved, knowing that she could not hear him, stopping in front of her just in case she wanted to pause her music, talk for a bit.</sup>

Ava smiled a little seeing the guy infront of her. She had seen him around, they may have shared a few words here and there but they hadn't really held a conversation really. She paused her ipod taking the plugs out of her ears.

"Hey." She said, placing her ipod into her jean pocket. The guy looked like he hadn't slept for days. She wondered why, but didn't think it was her place to ask. "How are ya?"

<sup>How was he? Aaron felt like he should laugh. "I'm great. You?" The boy wondered idly what music was being blasted into her ears at a (most likely) too-loud decibel level. Probably nothing he would like. "Whatcha listening to?" he asked, really trying to make his voice sound kind. It... sort of worked- He sounded almost as if he was mocking her. Oh well. She could take it however she wanted.

Shoving his hands in the pockets of his baggy light blue jeans, his fingers grasped blindly around whatever was in his pockets- loose change, a permanent marker, a button, some gum. random, much? He let his eyes survey the forest scene around him as he awaited an answer- trees, blowing in a wind that suggested rain was on its way- the dark clouds casting a shadow over the world gave the same impression. Not that Aaron minded- rain was nice, and he didn't mind getting his hair wet. At least, not today.</sup>

"I'm pretty good thanks" She smiled, looking around the forest. It was starting to get a bit windy. The breeze felt nice against her skin though. "I'm listening to system of a down." she said, one of my favorites." she said with a smile. "Do you like them?"

She turned her attention to him and waited for an answer. The surrounds were quite odd. They were standing in the middle of the forest carrying a conversation. It was pretty amusing. She ran her hand over one of her bare arms. She was getting a slight chill. But still, rather cold than hot.
